ABOUT THIS SITE:
I started this web site as a silent promise to myself and my childern that I would try to put information out there for others and also to to help any one that needed my help with any Paranormal experiences or what we call Hauntings!. I do Ghost Hunting in my spare time, and have a partner in crime with my sister who also has a very active house and has the same love of the Paranormal as I do! I urge you to take a look at this site as it is full of information on Hauntings and Ghost. I have loads of Photo's for all to look at and you can post your opinion on the blog that I have set up.
I also out a section for oils and other info for the ones that are interested in the other forms of the paranormal. My main love here is Hauntings as this is what inspired this web site. I have put up a Paranormal News section also so you can read all about different paranormal activities. Don't forget the Forum also as this is a good place to meet others like you that may need help or just to share your stories! Please at any time if you have any question about anything paranormal or you are being Haunted drop me an email as this can be done with out any knowledge of any one knowing and I know that it is a private thing.
The house that I once lived in was Haunted and for what reason, people who's houses are haunted is still a mystery* I am in the process of writing a book about these adventures of so called experiences and so between the book, my web site and my family my plate is full. My name is CelticSpirit and I at one time lived in eastern Virginia along with my family. I am married to a wonderful guy Steve and we have been married now for 25 years.------ We also have 3 wonderful children, 2 girls Crystal, age 24, Brittany 19 and 1 boy Steven age 17. Just like myself they had seen and heard a lot in the house we use to live in. I came upon all of this by mistake, if you will and what was once something that scared the HELL out of me has become an obsession by heart. I guess like the saying goes "What will not kill you will make you stronger"
The house we lived in was an old farm house and was built in 1880 and once was a farm by which they grew crops and such. We were told at first that it was bult in 1915 so that is what we went by for a long time up until right before we moved then we found out the "Real" original date. We lived there for 14 years and never knew this until I started writing my book and trying to find information on the area and house. We also found out that the house is a Historical Landmark! Little did we know about this at the time so now I have to find the previous owners before 1915 and who they were so this will prove to be an interesting journey indeed!
We moved in to the house and started to renovated it as it was in pretty poor shape. While we were fixing it up, strange things started to happen like people walking on stairs that weren't there and things banging in the night. My kids were young then so when they started to say that they didn't want to go up to their rooms by themselves because they were scared, I thought at this point that they were just being kids so I decided I would go up with them some times to show them that nothing was up there. Little did I know at that time that my oldest had already seen a girl (residual) up in the hallway. I didn't find this out until later from her.
The land that we lived on too was also alive with entities that seem to like to come in and visit from time to time as this is a very active area that we live in. As in many areas in the south this area was used by the troops from the Civil War and also the Native Americans had a sacred place right down the road from us that use to be called "Snow Hill". There were also many cemeteries in a small area around the neighborhood that surrounds the house at least 3 that I know of but probably more that I don't know of, so that would make it more active as such. I do believe that the house may have been in a fire at one time as I some times would smell wood burning and so has many other people that would come into the house, and the smell would move from room to room. The smoke smell would be so strong some times that it will actually burn the inside of your nostrils as my sister and her boy friend found out one night, it also would make me physically ill, giving me headaches and made me sick at my stomach to name a few things.
My children experienced many things in that house, from seeing other children from to hearing talking, giggling, walking around and strange mist that float in the air. They have had that happen since the time that they were little and had grown to except this and tried to ignore it if they could. I didn't really have things happen to me until I was hit in the head and had a bad concussion and then it was like the flood gates opened up. My senses were like awoken and then I really felt sorry for all the things that my kids had to endure all those years that I thought that they had been making up, so now when they tell me something that has happened to them, I believe them.
My children and I are were not just the only ones that walk into that house and had something happened to them. We had just moved in here and I was in taking a shower and my 2 sisters were in the kitchen watching my children for me. My one sister had been pushed from behind from something unseen. She told me later about the incident and said that she could actually feel 2 hands on her back push her. This is only one of the many incidents that have happened here and to too many of my family and friends.
While we lived there we had at least 3 deaths in our home, all of which were immediate family members. The last one to die here was in August 2005 when my step mother had a mysterious heart attack that killed her at age 57. There was at least one death prior to us moving in and that was a previous owner that lived there and she fell and hit her head and she died instantly. I do believe that she is still in this home some how as she just can't leave the house. I know some of you may be thinking with all of those deaths in the home no wonder it is haunted with all of that energy right? Well if you can ignore the blinking lights and things being moved around, doors being opened and closed for no apparent reason, well then you can handle it.
I started to keep records of things that were going on in the house as a result of my new found senses (having a concussion on the head can do wonderous things to some people) as I can see, hear and smell so when something happens I can go to where ever it has happened and sense what is going on in the area that it took place. I formed an opinion about that house and knew that there was more than 1 spirit in that house as I later found out. He was a male and was considered an Intellegent spirit. I hope that this helps some out as I didn't know where to turn for help. I am hoping that I can get this message out there to all that YES, THIS DOES HAPPEN-------AND NO YOU ARE NOT CRAZY, AT LEAST FOR NOW!!
